At Highland Orchards, we are committed to taking care of Mother Earth. We want the earth to yield its best for us, so we give our best to the soil. We think the fruits and vegetables taste better. We know that earth-friendly agriculture is good for all of us.
Ruth Linton and her family have been farming in the same location since 1832, and as the name Highland Orchards suggest, we have fruit trees–peaches, plums, apples, pears. We also grow all kinds of berries–strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, blackberries, blueberries– and a wide range of vegetables. We are a family operation, with everyone involved in some way, and we work directly with the public through our store located in the 150-year-old barn. We love food that tastes good, and that is why it is so much fun for us to work with the chefs in our area.
