This is the first exciting year for Bayberry Farm and the first year for Toby Hagerott to farm his own land.
Toby is from a large family in Wyoming where hard work and integrity were highly valued. Growing up on a small farm with a garden and many farm animals was a great foundation.
In his past Toby has worked in large production greenhouses, in private greenhouses, and on a large ranch. In the few years after attaining his Bachelors in Landscape Architecture, Toby has worked designing small and large land planning projects.
More recently he has been finishing his Masters Degree in Sustainable Design. Learning many new and interesting things that are happening now and soon in the future.
This past year Toby interned on a local farm learning the small and large of market farming in Delaware. This was a great hands on experience.
Toby is looking forward to a great year of growing great tasty things for the community and the shareholders of the farm.
