An Event So Exciting You Can Taste It

Meet the Chefs

Susan Teiser

Susan Teiser has always cooked but came late to ‘the business’ after a successful corporate career, where her friends knew her as a serious ‘foodie’, seeking new and established chefs in her global business travels, and as an excellent cook in her and her friends’ homes. Having retired from the corporate world, she served as Managing Director for Meals From The Masters for Meals On Wheels Delaware for three years. In 2003, Susan opened the Centreville Café, and a year later, opened Montrachet Fine Foods as the commissary kitchen for the Café, preparing all stocks and baked goods on site. Both businesses share space at 5800 Kennett Pike with the Café serving foods 364 days a year and Montrachet serving as upscale caterer in prestigious homes and businesses in the mid-Atlantic region. After eight years in the Café and catering business, Susan is known for local sourcing, small farmer and business support, and doing whatever is needed to meet the food and service interests of her clients. Exquisite presentation and great tastes are the hallmarks of her foods, using her fine arts training to its fullest.
