Giorgio Ragnolo

Giorgio and Rossana Ragnolo were both born and raised in Italy until they were 21 years old.

While in Italy, Rossana studied hotel administration and front of the house servicing in Naples for 5 years. Because of her program in school, she was able to spend a lot of time in the good restaurants in her town and in upscale hotels in Milan.

When Giorgio and Rosanna came to the United States in 1999, they both started working at the Lamberti’s location on Philadelphia Pike. Giorgio worked at the appetizer station and Rossana worked as a bus girl.

Both eager to learn, Giorgio took small basic cooking classes and Rossana always made sure she was behind a server so she could learn English as soon as possible. Soon after, she became a server, but this was not enough for her.

Eventually, Rossana trained to become the bartender/manager. Little by little, she oversaw day to day operations and then moved up to the general manager position. From there she organized daily marketing and took care of bar orders while Giorgio moved to a chef position.

In 2005, Vince Scotto of Lamberti’s Cucina (Philadelphia Pike) gave Rossana and Giorgio an opportunity to take over their other location on Centerville Road and this is where they have been ever since.

Every year, Giorgio and Rossana continue to go back to Italy, tour all of the best restaurants and bring back new and exciting ideas and dish creations.

Lamberti’s Italian Grill & Bar is located at 1300 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 and features a casual, family friendly dining atmosphere, with warm attentive service and fresh ingredients in delicious Italian dishes. Lamberti’s now features an outdoor deck where guests can enjoy lunch, dinner or drinks outdoors. During Happy Hour, Monday thru Friday 4 – 7pm, guests can enjoy select dishes from the Al Fresco menu half off, as well as $3 beers, $3 Frozen Drinks, $5 Glasses of Wine, $5 Specialty Cocktails and $10 Beer Buckets (4 Coronas or 5 Miller Lites).
