Biagio Scotto

Biagio Scotto grew up in Italy, watching closely when his family was cooking and preparing meals. When he came to the United States, specifically Baltimore, Biagio spent time working in his family’s pizza shop, expanding his knowledge of Italian cuisine.

After some time, Biagio then went to New Jersey and worked at the Lamberti’s Restaurant location in Medford under Tony Illiano. There, he acquired a lot of information about the food industry and how a restaurant operates on a daily basis.

After spending some time in Medford, NJ, Biagio teamed up with his cousin Vince. Together, they opened up Pasta Blitz by Lamberti in Wilmington, Delaware in December of 1994.

Over the years, this location has been remodeled a few times and today, they’re undergoing more exciting changes to enhance the guest dining experience. These new changes include a new bar complete with a happy hour (Monday through Friday, 4-7), a bar menu and tapas menu and an updated dining room menu that combines new dishes with many Lamberti’s classics.

Biagio and his cousin Vince also oversee the kitchen at their other location, Waterfall Banquet & Conference Center located at 3416 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.

Lamberti’s Italian Grill and Bar, which is what Pasta Blitz is now known as, is located at 514 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809 and features a casual, family friendly dining atmosphere, with warm attentive service and fresh ingredients in delicious Italian dishes.
